Payment Terms and Conditions
Purchase with confidence - We provide two (2) secure, industry standard payment options with Paypal and Stripe. Please visit the Paypal and/or Stripe websites for more information on the relevant User Agreements. Payment receipts are provided by both services.
If preferred, you can contact our support team (email@example.com) to organise alternate payment options.
All prices in our store "La Boheme - House of the Wishing Trees" are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include all relevant local taxes and duties.
You will be provided an itemised order confirmation once your order is placed (to your nominated email address). If you have any questions or concerns whatsoever, our committed team is here to help via email (firstname.lastname@example.org).
You may return damaged/faulty or 'not as described' items within 14 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
Refunds will not be provided on vintage or one of a kind, handmade items. Once you purchase these, they disappear from the store and you prevent any further clients from purchasing the rare/one-of-a-kind or vintage product. Buyers remorse will not receive refunds. We are a small business and all sales go back into the ordering of new stock items. ALL SALES ARE FINAL.
We are however, happy to issue refunds for items that are defective or for a fault that is our own.
Please Note: All care is taken to ensure our listings are honest and correct, particularly with our vintage and one of a kind, handmade items. These are AGED and USED items and are often subject to stains, blemishes and signs of usage and wear!! Vintage textiles in particular (which historically may have been used as table cloths or wall hangings or on furniture within the home, will show markings and stains, often because of celebratory occasion food spillage. These need to be DRY CLEANED by the new owner prior to use. Please ask questions PRIOR to ordering, if you have any. All items are carefully packaged and posted twice per week. The items condition is thoroughly inspected and photographed prior to dispatch.
If a refund is necessary, you should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
Given the nature of the items that are stocked in this store (ie: often vintage, often one-of-a-kind and almost always handmade) we don't often have multiples of any of our items. They are a carefully curated collection of mostly one-off products. Therefore, we urge you to ask any and all questions prior to the sale, should you need some comfort around your purchase.
Where we can exchange, we definitely will. But for the vast majority of product, exchanges are simply not possible.
We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.
When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.
Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full dollar.
