These beautiful antique solid silver, handmade hamsa hands were found throughout my travels in Morocco from antique dealers in Essaouria, Atlas Mountains and Marrakech.

The Hamsa Hand, is a symbol of protection throughout the Middle East and brings the wearer health, wealth, happiness and prosperity. As well as protection from 'evil or negative energy'.

It is also known as the symbol of God, regardless of religious beliefs.

It is a beautiful sentiment and on my travels I was inexplicably drawn to them,

These are not brand new, knock offs or mixed metal pieces.

These are antiques, made by various tribes of the Atlas Mountains, each one is over 100 years old and is hand forged solid silver.

During my collecting, as with all things I acquire, the story behind them was intensely important to me. 

Being antique, hand made and solid silver was paramount. Each one carrying a story, a blessing, a purpose.

Each hamsa hand has been saged and blessed. Cleared of old energy and ready for their new owners.

They will all be polished and prepared for their new owners.

I love these pieces so intensely and as always, only ever buy that which I would love for myself.
